Tashayla Williams is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Tashayla has a BA in Criminal Justice and a BA and Sociology. Tashayla has a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and is completing her PhD in Human Services.
Tashayla has worked with several populations including abused and neglected children, individuals with disabilities, trauma survivors,offenders in minimum to maximum security prisons, individuals with persistent mental illnesses such as Bipolar and Schizophrenia, couples for couple therapy, and group therapy. Tashayla has provided evidence based therapy through her art and music therapy curriculum. Tashayla has worked with individuals who are dually diagnosed with substance abuse issues and mental health issues. Tashayla currently provides counseling with clients to manage mental health issues during the Covid-19 pandemic in the United States, Dubai, Cayman Islands, Australia, Canada, United Kingdom and Ireland. At IMPACCT Brooklyn, Tashayla works in the Social Services Department and is responsible for providing Substance Abuse Counseling for clients who have been chronically homeless and living with HIV.
