About this session

In April 2021, the State will “carve-out” Medicaid prescription drug programs. Unless reversed, the “carve-out” will ravage the 340B program, destroy safety net providers, divert funding from essential services, and worsen health inequities during a global pandemic. New York’s Safety Net Providers offer essential services – from healthcare to housing – for our state’s most vulnerable populations. This interactive session will offer important background information and updates on potential legislative solutions. Join us to learn about how the fight to reverse the Medicaid carve-out is a fight to protect New York’s safety net and save Black and Brown lives.
