COVID 19 pandemic has magnified the need for affordable and supportive housing, social services and aid for our senior citizens. Households are bracing for a wave of evictions. What efforts are being made to assist residents in Central Brooklyn to assure they have safe, affordable income targeted housing and the services that are needed to sustain and remain in the community. The sponsoring Assembly Member Phara-Souffrant-Forrest will kick off and host a panel that includes tenant advocates from Central Brooklyn and representatives from IMPACCT Brooklyn which is the community development corporation serving the District who will speak about housing, community engagement and social service offerings.
